Candy Cranks

Hello! Apologies for my lack of entries this summer, as I have been away on the remote atolls of the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands.

These atolls are all animal refuges that are inhabited by only a few scientists. Despite their distance from everything, on of the most populated and developed atolls, Midway, had bikes!

Besides bikes, golf carts are the only other form of transportation up here, so everyone rides these cruisers.

All the birds hanging out are Laysan Albatross. They sit in the middle of the road sometimes, so the bikes and golf carts navigate around them, which can get pretty tricky!

So cute, you have to go around them!
