Well I picked up Brian at the weekend, he’s lovely and actually fits me for a change. Just in time for the good weather in London to disappear in a cloud of drizzle! Rode him into work this morning, always find it a bit strange going from fixed to freewheel, find the lack of control a little scary for a while, I think I changed gear the grand sum of twice!
He’s very very quick though, I just need to change those 20c tyres for something bigger, London streets just aren’t that forgiving!
Now it’s time to get some miles in, in preparation for the Dunwich Dynamo in July. A 120 mile night ride from London to the Norfolk coast!

From doing a bit of research about the tubing, I think he’s late 80′s early 90′s. Got it for half the price I expected though!

That’s awesome! You certainly don’t see many Rourke’s out this way. I love old bikes.
