Halloween calls for an Alley Cat, of course! This year, Nick and I put together a trail of clues leading to candy in Honolulu’s haunted spots. People dressed up all crazy, making the evening much more entertaining!

Unfortunately the clue trail wasn’t as easy to follow as we expected, with candy and clues disappearing and a crazy party downtown blocking the way to a clue.. but all in all, fun was had!
Other updates.. A female cycle club, the Hub Honeys, was started to promote ladies learning mechanics and crafts of bikes! A small group got together on Friday to sort out fundamentals and learn how to fix flats. We’ll be meeting every 2nd friday around 6:30 at Cycle Manoa on the UH campus to have a small mechanics lesson or an arts and craft project, followed by a ride. I’m really excited about this.. it seems like it will be really strong and empowering! I’ll be sure to get photos next time!
