A total of 200 riders from Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong were in town for the Tour Of Singapore 2010 that was held last Saturday.
There were about 10 female riders that took up this challenge to conquer an estimated total distance of 150km.
This is my 2nd TOS and it was nerve wrecking in the beginning. However I managed to complete it nevertheless. Here are some pictures taken from various riders that attended the event for this year.
I will be posting some videos once they are available and will also feature pictures of the girls that rode alongside with me that day in another post.
To everyone that was present, I hope you had a great time.

What I’m saying here:
Get more local women cycling regularily in Singapore. (Or mabye they’re into yoga or more gentler/indoor stuff.
I can only guess the cultural dynamics and the heat there.

Singapore roads are ideal for cycling but not many women like to use it as a form of transport. Many take up cycling leisurely and they usually do it in the available parks here.
We do not have any cycling lane here in Singapore and most motorists here believed that we do not belong on road.
