Of course you can find parking for your bike the “analog” way, i.e. just riding around until you find a sign post or etc. to attach your steed to, but in case you’d like to find parking for your bike from the safety of your electronic device, the NYC Department of Transportation has a great interactive map showing locations of bicycle parking racks here.
And, if you want to submit a request for the city to install a rack on your block, you can find the information to do so here… It probably will take quite some time for the city to get to your installation, but the more, the merrier!
