It’s Bike Week here in Massachusetts! The whole metro-area hosts a ton of events during the week. In my opinion, one of the best activities offered to promote biking is the police-escorted cycling convoy. These are led by experienced cyclists and escorted by Boston Police for a safe and fun commute to work. The convoys follow a fixed schedule and route and originate at locations throughout metro-Boston. All convoys finish at City Hall Plaza where you can enjoy a free breakfast, expo and music. By the way, that’s our mayor in the blue smurf suit in the first picture on the left.
We also offer workshops and information at my place of work. We’ll be hosting a change-a-flat workshop and giving out educational information on biking equipment, safety, and fitness.
