Last weekend I´ve decided to make some room in my magazine rack as I was running out of space there. You have to know I´m a bit crazy about magazines (and I´m not talking about Vogue or Instyle here), spending way too much money on it and piling up a huge collection always.
Anyways, while going through all those mags and finding it hard to part from most of them, I´ve also came across a few older issues of Starshot:

As I had to find out, they no longer get published, which is sad, but at the time (3 or 4 years ago already, omg…) those little mags were pretty cool – all about cycling and awesome design, great photography, real interesting interviews and all put together in great style. Just pure eye candy. And even better – you could get them for free at your favorite bike dealer. That is if you were fast enough.
They even published a DIN-A2 size Tour dé France Special once, where they had taken the pictures of the models live during the actual tour while cyclists were racing by. I believe shots of this can be spotted in the german Tour dé France documentary Hoellentour. (which is also worth watching btw…)
So even though the guys at Starshot don´t produce the magazine any longer, they`ve now started a small bike fashion line, which can be found here.
