Check out these cute wooden bikes from Growing Up Green. They have been selected from around the globe and are environmentaly friendly. The third one down is from Sydney. However my fav is the first one which is handmade in Germany and called Like a Bike ‘Forest’.

    performance bicycles has a kids push bike like these but most likely cheaper I got one and it is a great way to teach a child to ride a bike with out training wheels the are 99$ or cheaper sometimes on sale you can see a pic of one on my flickr………..http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3485/3315707792_0c9f86b609_b.jpg
