Hello, I am the maker of these handlebars! Thanks for posting about my work/bikes etc.! @SouthFloridaFixed – they are actually EXTREMELY STRONG! I have had the same pair (very dark brown ones) on my bike for about a year now. I have climbed many hills with them and tested them thoroughly, and although they do flex and bend very slightly, they should not break. The process I use to create them (bent lamination) makes them even stronger than if they were a single piece of wood. Feel free to email me to ask any questions!

I think they look great. But how strong are they? That would suck to be pushing up a hill and have them and your teeth break!
