I love old footage, this is the first part of a 1973 documentary about the Giro d’Italia, (Tour of Italy). It has some fab footage of Merckx and other cycling heros, the commentary is superb.
Keep an eye out for the guy in giant white flares and fro at 8.50, bottom left of screen.

I’d be a ridiculous fan boy if professional cycling were like that again.
