I came across these on a blog called Italian Cycling Journal, I thought these were pretty genius considering that sometimes I do ride in high heels…not the greatest idea but I dont always carry an extra pair of shoes with me when im out.
What do you think about them?

nice idea in general, maybe (reminded me of http://www.candycranks.com/archives/6515), but then again – it´s already not the greatest to walk longer distances in normal cycling shoes. So imagining it in high heels – not sure what kind of elegant walk that would produce…?

Cute idea, but probably not very practical or safe for your ankles if you have an accident!

They are cute/hilarious! I’d love to give them a go, I can’t imagine them being too comfortable to ride and walk in. I’d like to see them in use, like Anja mentioned, the walk would be interesting!

If the heel is designed right and you can put the clip covers on them then you won’t have the unbalanced wonky walk. These are fabulous. But finding a pair to buy leads to a dead end! Annoying!

If the red cleat mount were somehow more subtle (black?), they would be more attractive to me. It’s kind of silly to be discussing what’s easy to walk in when referring to heels, though.

Can these be purchased somewhere? They would match my bike & kit. I would wear them for social rides.
