This is Rachel, a self confessed bike nerd from New Zealand. She recently asked her friend David Murphy to take some portraits of herself and the bike crew she rides with. The photos are based on the personality of the rider and their personal bike vibe. These are some pics of her and her baby girl Masita that she’s pimped out with leopard print ‘skins’ – removable covers for your bike. It was originally a 53cm grey and red Masi, which she’s since tidied up with some narrow chrome handlebars, black tyres and tan feet grips.
These portraits were taken in her parents backyard and garage, that’s where she likes to get messy and get her DIY mechanic on.
Rachel was also bummed whilst looking for google images of women on bikes for inspiration all she found was porn…
