Candy Cranks

Many people in Switzerland are very conservative thinking, that’s why there aren’t as many bike parks as it could be…
I think it’s because “Freeride / Dowhnhill” with a bike is something new and people are afraid of new things. It was the same problem with snowboarding back in the 90th.. and look how popular snowboarding got in the last 15 years !!

That’s why we’re forced to go over the border and bike those genius bike park in France, Italy or Austria… Lucky Switzerland is so small. Most of the Bike Parks are a 2-3 hours drive close.

We’ve got very lucky, since October 2009 they’ve built a bike park at Monte Tamaro, Switzerland and we went there yesterday. Well, on the top there is still too much snow, but we could ride the new trail from the middle station to the bottom. Here is a little movie of it.
