….is going to be bussssyyyyy. If you’re going to be around Kansas City or Lawrence next weekend, there’s a variety of bike events to choose from.

First up, since Friday is the last friday of the month KC Critical Mass is happening. Meet up around 6ish at 4001 Mill Street [Sunfresh Market]. Also, the KCSPRINTS are taking on Lawrence! We’ll be on the outdoor patio at the Replay Lounge. Races start at 8. Winner takes home a PBR CRUSIER BIKE!!!!!!

If you aren’t too tired/hungover/lazy on Saturday, the BBG is hosting their first Battlecat! It’s a 14 point alleycat WITH knockout eliminations. I’m not exactly sure how those are going to play out, but I’m definitely going to be ready to race. First prize is a new track wheelset [yes, please]. Second and third place win Holdfast straps and some other swag!

Last, but not least, Sunday afternoon meet at the roller hockey courts [70th and Holmes] for pickup games of SPACE HOCKEY [bikepolo]. We’ve been meeting anywhere from 2-3pm. We have extra mallets!! Come out and play, especially if you’ve never tried. I’m real green, but it’s still a blast. [this is an ongoing event every Sunday!!!!]
