While doing my usual bike porn surfing as well as looking out for websites that emphasizes on ladies on bikes.. i came across Cixxxie Chix. I realised much later that me and Sari of Cixxxie Chix shared a few common friends in facebook. This is the beginning of a beautiful friendship. ;P

Cixxxie Chix is jakarta based, which consists of Aprilia Apsari (Sari) and Kakatiara. They roll the busy streets of Jakarta with their steel stallions and does mean tricks as well. Another cool fact abt Sari is that she is the vox behinds White Shoes and Couples Company, which performed in festivals like SXSW Music Festival in Austin, Texas and at the CMJ Music Festival, New York

From their website, I’ve noticed that the population of female cyclists in Indonesia is multiplying fast. Keep on riding girls… perhaps, in the near future… we’ll be riding the streets together… be it in Jakarta or in Singapore. We’re only an hour flight away.
