Riding to Provins
November 24th, 2009 · Clemence - Paris · 2 Comments

After several false starts (and my very bad mood) the Mittens hit the road last sunday for Provins (middle-age town near Paris).
Numbers : About 120 miles, 2 punctures, half a litre of hot tea (thanks to Vic), 8 pancakes, 300g of dried apricots, 4h in the rain, 1h in a hailstorm, 3h night-riding, and a fricking head on wind (never the other way round), 3h rest, and 8 cases of the giggles…
PERFECT !

Vic’s first alleycat!
November 12th, 2009 · Clemence - Paris · 6 Comments

Last saturday evening it was so cold in Paris.
It was also Victoria’s - one of the Mittens riders - first alleycat.
There were 22 competitors riding to begin with , we were the only two girls.
Unfortunately in Paris there is not a lot of girls really riding.
9 people finished the race. And guess what? We drew forth, even though Victoria had a little crash, and the first 3 were messengers.
We are so proud of ourselves!!!!
Mittens Power!!!!!!!!!
