“We live for the pursuit of the unknown. The anticipation of what the future holds. The untapped potential of what lies ahead. The finish line is only a starting point for a new adventure. What happens in between is where the real action is.
This is SecondBase . A joint effort between Anthill Films and the Coastal Crew, whose mission is to document the future of mountain biking as it unfolds in real time. We capture the true lifestyle that intersects our lives as professional mountain bikers and filmmakers, creating films for riders – by riders.”

Well, the famous TV series Hawaii Five-O is back with a new young and hip cast, all filmed in Hawaii. The show premier was at an event called “sunset on the beach” where a big screen is set up on Waikiki beach and people can put out mats, bring snacks and watch for free.
Waikiki was more crowded than usual, with people trying to see the show’s stars and get good spots for viewing
We created another bike tree of locking mayhem
Hawaii Five-O will be showing nationally next week.. watch it!
Two weeks ago I went to Dresden to visit some friends but also to see the Dresden premiere of the FIXED CITY movie. The evening was organized by the veloheld crew who had also setup a monopoly alley cat prior to the viewing.
A big crowd showed up, awesome location, lots of bikes, party afterwards. e r t z u i ° film shot a nice summary of the whole night:
Just a quick edit of the FXC premiere @ Dresden.
..what a race, what a night! Big ups to the Dresden crew!

Aimed at capturing the lifestyle of female riders in the testosterone-ridden world of mountain biking, the makers of a new film, Awesome Land: Women of Dirt, hope to shed light on what drives these women athletes.
“The inspiration for Women Of Dirt starts first with the women who make up an important part of our sport and yet get overlooked,” said film producer Mark Brent. “We felt that our lifestyle gets overlooked, and that the women in our sport get overlooked. By focusing on two elements that we don’t see in DVDs, we are telling a story that hasn’t been told.”
