While headed to the grocery store while traveling through Petaluma, California, I randomly came across the Rapha bus, as they are filming a California ride. Team rider Evil Ryan was kind enough to provide me with a cycling cap and let me take pictures of the bus.. thanks!

What: From the Inside Out / Life Cycles
“We live for the pursuit of the unknown. The anticipation of what the future holds. The untapped potential of what lies ahead. The finish line is only a starting point for a new adventure. What happens in between is where the real action is.
This is SecondBase . A joint effort between Anthill Films and the Coastal Crew, whose mission is to document the future of mountain biking as it unfolds in real time. We capture the true lifestyle that intersects our lives as professional mountain bikers and filmmakers, creating films for riders – by riders.”

Kozo, a rider from Japan, landed a fixed back flip in front of hundreds of people at the first Red Bull Ride + Style event in San Francisco last Saturday, April 30th. The sun was shining and tons of people came out to watch the event, which featured a track race and a trick competition. There was only one female participant this time around but hopefully as events like this become more common we’ll see more girls getting involved.
